MEET THE FOUNDER
Trudie Pandolfo, CEO & Founder of Sparkle Clean

I’ve loved cleaning for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I’d wait until my parents were out of the house so I could clean it from top to bottom — not because I had to, but because I genuinely enjoyed it. There’s something calming and therapeutic about the process. I love that cleaning is black and white: something is either clean, or it isn’t. No grey area. No second-guessing. Just clarity and calm.
For years, I worked in management roles in the corporate world. But it was a daily struggle. I didn’t fit in. I battled with communication, sensory overload, and the constant pressure to mask who I was. I rarely got the reasonable adjustments I needed — and like so many other Autistic people, I burned out trying to be someone I wasn’t.
After being made redundant, I knew I needed to do things differently. I still wanted to work — I’ve always wanted to contribute — but this time it had to be on my terms, in a way that was actually healthy for my Autistic brain.
That’s when Sparkle Clean was born.
I created Sparkle Clean not just to build a life that worked for me, but to create opportunities for other neurodivergent people with incredible skills who’ve been overlooked, unsupported, or misunderstood in traditional workplaces. People who, like me, can thrive — when they’re finally given the right environment.
Here, we value clarity, kindness, autonomy and honesty. We support one another. We don’t mask. And we don’t pretend to be anything we’re not.
And best of all — we get to do work that brings genuine joy to our clients. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone’s face light up when they walk into a sparkling home. That’s why we do what we do.
